The International Association for Time Use Research (IATUR) and the Technical Committee for the Study of Gender and Time Use of the Brazilian federal government invite all people with an interest in daily activities, behaviour schedules and the use of time to participate in the 35th annual conference of the association, to be held in Rio de Janeiro, from August 7 to 9, 2013.
The abstract deadline was 1 April 2013. The conference will continue to accept abstracts for the poster session. Late abstracts can be considered for presentation where there are gaps in the programme or to replace papers which are cancelled. Please submit abstracts of 150 to 250 words maximum in the call for papers page.

The deadline to apply to the pre-conference training workshop was May 20. Selected trainees were already notified.
THE ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTIONS OF WOMEN AND MEN: A TRAINING WORKSHOP ON TIME-USE DATA ANALYSIS FOR POLICYMAKING
The workshop will provide hands-on training on the special properties of time-use data, management of time use data sets, techniques for the analysis and reporting of time-use information in a policy-relevant, gender-aware manner. The workshop will be led by experts from IATUR and will be conducted in Spanish and English, with simultaneous translation between these languages.
