Financial assistance
THANKS TO THE SUPPORT OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF GEODESY (IAG) AND THE PAN AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF GEOGRAPHY AND HISTORY (PAIGH), SIRGAS HAS A MODERATE BUDGET TO SUPPORT ATTENDANCE OF SOME PARTICIPANTS
This support will be distributed to applicants, according to the registered abstracts for presentation during the meeting upon receiving approval of the Scientific Council and the Executive Committee of SIRGAS.
For the final allocation of the available budget, it is essential that the institutions to which the beneficiaries belong assume responsibility for a complementary fee (transportation, housing, or support) to cover all expenses.
Those interested in this support should send their application no later than June 30, 2019 to the following e-mail: sirgas2019@gmail.com
The application must contain the following 3 attachments:
- At least one abstract describing your contribution to the Meeting.
- A letter to the SIRGAS Executive Committee stating the purpose for which you request the aforementioned support (transportation, housing, or support) and mention what type of support you will receive from your institution. Please clarify your country of residence as well.
- A note that endorses the support of the Institution that you represent.
In the subject of the e-mail you must write:
Subject: "Financial Aid 2019- SURNAME Name"
